About Madalina
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have been performing for 20 years, and teaching piano since 2006. Since graduating from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, I had teaching posts at the Razumovsky Academy, The Mount School (Mill Hill, London), Langley Grammar School, and I am currently teaching at the GEMS Hampshire School in Chelsea, London. I also have a number of private students.

- Where and with whom did you train?
I am originally from Romania, where I started my musical studies in Constanta, at the Music High School with Professor Dr Iuliana Carlig. Later on, I went to study privately with rennouned Romanian musicians at the Bucharest Conservatoire, such as Professors Constantin Ionescu - Vovu & Cristian Dumitrescu, and in 2004, I went to the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, where I studied with Professor Joan Havill. Throughout my studies I have been invited to perform in several masterclasses, where I was coached by world class pianists such as Simon Trpceski, Stephen Kovacevich, Pascal Roge, Richard Goode, Paul Lewis, and many others.
- Tell me about some of your current students.
Currently, my students levels range between beginners to ABRSM Grade 8. I have always had very good results with all my students, all exam results consist mainly of Merit & Distinction.
I also teach in London, at the Orchard House School in Chiswick and at GEMS Hampshire School in Chelsea.

- How much do you charge?
£35 /hour if students travel to my home in Biggleswade
£40/hour if I travel to my students in Biggleswade, Hitchin, Stevanage
£50 /hour if I travel to my students in London & Cambridge
- Where do you teach?
I prefer to teach at my home in Biggleswade. However, if it is convenient, I may be able to travel within nearby towns, such as Hitchin, Stevanage, Royston, Baldock & Letchworth. I may also be able to travel to students' homes in London & Cambridge, under a higher fee.
- When are you available?
Mondays: 5pm - 9pm
Tuesdays: 9am - 9pm
Wednesdays: 5pm - 9pm
Thursdays: 6pm - 9pm
Fridays: 6pm - 9pm
Saturdays: 9am - 9pm
Sundays: 10am - 5pm

Children of all ages, but preferably no younger than 5 years old (unless exceptional cases)
