- I am a graduate of the Warsaw Conservatory
I grew up in Lodz, Poland, and started playing the violin at age 6. After studying at the Warsaw Conservatory I moved to Prague. I have lived and worked in England as a professional violinist since 1994 playing in numerous bands in a variety of styles ranging from Hot Club Jazz to Gaelic to Hungarian Gypsy music. I perform as well as teach, and am a founding member of the Amber players, leader of Dunajska Kapelye, a Gypsy/Balkan group, and fiddle player in Shir, a klezmer band. - What kind of experience do you have?
- I have a rich experience of teaching both adults and children: I have been a full-time tutor at the East London Late Starters Orchestra (ELLSO) for over 10 years and have worked in various schools in and around Oxford for a similar amount of time. I also have private students who have been awarded music scholarships to secondary schools, passed exams with flying colours, and been awarded places on Pro Corda and National Children's Orchestra.
