Rachel has studied the violin since the age of 4 and achieved grade 8 ABRSM aged 15. As well as being a soloist, Rachel is also heavily involved in a number of chamber ensembles. She currently plays for West Sussex Opera Company and was recently invited to play for Chichester Pro Camerata. She plays also for The University of Chichester chamber orchestra where she has acted as principle of late alongside soloist Emilian Dascal. As well as being an established classical musician she also plays in a number of jazz and other contemporary ensembles. During the summer she runs a residential orchestral course for youngsters in devon and plays a large part in running a musical theatre based course as well. Rachel is also co-founder of the Amabilé quintet which plays at various events around the country.
