Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a 1st class BMus (Hons) degree from the Royal College of Music, where I studied saxophone, clarinet, flute and theory. I have just completed a Masters degree at the Royal Academy of Music, gaining a distinction. I have 5 ABRSM grade 8 qualifications in saxophone, clarinet, flute, piano and theory, so I feel more than comfortable about preparing students for ABRSM instrumental exams.

In addition to my musical qualifications, I have 10 GCSEs (9 A*s and 1 A) and 3 A levels in Music, French and German (all A grades).
What kind of experience do you have?
I have had a lot of experience of instrumental teaching to adults and children, both beginners and more advance players alike, since studying at the Royal College of Music. I have also taken courses in instrumental teaching as part of my degree, and have an impressive 100% pass success rate with students I have entered for ABRSM exams, including a recent Diploma student.

As an academic tutor, I have plenty of experience in helping to prepare young people for GCSE and A level exams, particularly in Music, French and German. I realise that in a school environment it can sometimes be hard for children to get answers to important academic questions, especially when one teacher has 25 other pupils to deal with! That is why I have found that I have been a great help to children and parents, as in a one-to-one setting, lesson content can be tailored to an individual's needs and there is always plenty of time to ask those important questions!
How much do you charge?
I charge £33 per hour, and £16.50 per half hour for all my subjects.
Where do you teach?
I can travel to the students home to teach or students may come to my home.
When are you available?
I am free most evenings and also have some daytime availability during weekdays.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach either adults or children, and from beginner up to Diploma level on saxophone and up to ABRSM Grade 8 level on clarinet, flute and theory.

I also tutor Music, French and German up to A level standard.
