My name is Raffaele Nicoletti and I am an Italian native speaker. I am a violinist and I am studying Baroque violin and Musicology at Royal Academy of Music in London.I like teaching Italian and I had been teaching for years when I used to live in Italy.

If you are interested in learning Italian from the beginning, or if you would like to improve your Italian, please read on...

If you are a beginner, I will teach the most fundamental rules of grammar and the most typical daily expressions Italian people use: if You need, I will teach the most common expressions to feel confident at work and when You are with friends.

For fun, I will introduce some different kinds of Italian accents and the Standard Italian,

We can read some books and learn all kinds of tips to be confident in Italian contexts.

I can teach You how to spell Italian correctly and We will enjoy discovering some interesting aspects of Italian culture.

We will practice enjoyable conversation, and if you'd like, I will encourage you to read some Italian books and leading newspapers from the Internet.

If You wish, I would love to introduce the History of Italian, and will show some differences between Early and Modern Italian and some rescources from
the leading Italian Writers and Poets, such as Dante Alghieri, Francesco Petrarca, Torquato Tasso, Metastasio, Giacomo Leopardi, Alessandro Manzoni,
Giovanni Boccaccio, Carlo Goldoni, Giovanni Verga, Luigi Pirandello.

I can also provide you with some tips about how to analyse a written issue or text and understand the meaning.

Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a diploma taken with the highest graduation class in Liceo Classico in Italy, where I used to study mostly Early Languages such as Latin, Early Greek, Italian literature and grammar. I have also a degree with the highest graduation cum laude in Baroque Violin, Musicology and Early Music.
What kind of experience do you have?
I studied at school some techniques to teach and I think enjoying for fun is the most effective way to learn something!!

I have lots of books, grammar guides and Italian newspapers, and so my students are able to choose among the many materials I can supply.
How much do you charge?
£15 per hour, 17£ if I travel.
Where do you teach?
I teach in my flat in Haringey.
When are you available?
I am flexible and I like fixing a regular time each week but this might vary according to my performing engagements and trips.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
All ages are welcome, including adults.
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
