- I have been playing the violin and piano for 15 years, and I am now continuing violin study at Masters level at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- I teach the violin, which is my first instrument. I can also teach the piano and music theory.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
- I gained a First Class Honours music degree from the University of Leeds in June 2010, majoring in violin performance.
I am currently studying for a Masters in performance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. - What kind of experience do you have?
- I have piano teaching experience, and I have experience teaching group violin lessons. I have also coached chamber music groups at university level.
- How much do you charge?
- I charge £13 for a half hour lesson, and £25 for an hour lesson. I do not charge for travel if you are in the local area, however if I have to travel further then a small travel cost will be added.
- Where do you teach?
- I am happy to teach either at home or at the students' home. I can drive so am able to travel easily to local areas around Bromley. I study in Greenwich, so it is also possible for me to teach in that area.
- When are you available?
- I am available both during the week and at weekends. I cannot teach on Wednesdays due to college commitments but other than that I can be flexible.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- I am happy to teach all ages.
I can teach from beginner to undergraduate level on violin, piano up to Grade 6 and music theory grades 1-8. - Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- I have previously had a CRB certificate, but I do not have a current one at the moment.
- Where and with whom did you train?
- I have trained with many excellent violin professors throughout school, university, including David Burton, David Riley and Peter Poole.
I studied violin at the University of North Texas College of Music for a year with Julia Bushkova.
I am currently studying with Michael Bochmann at Trinity Laban.
