MA History - What kind of experience do you have?
- I taught Latin and History in secondary school and I have worked as a tutor in the last five years teaching a diverse range of ages. I am currently working in a primary school where I help children with special needs.
- How much do you charge?
- I charge £28/hour which does not include travel expenses.
- Where do you teach?
- I teach at students' home as well as at my home.
- When are you available?
- I am available on weekday evenings, all day on Saturdays and during school holidays. Please contact me for further information.

- I teach all ages from 7 to 90, beginner to advanced level.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- I prepare students for GCSE, AS/A2 exams.
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- Yes, I do have an Enhanced CRB certificate.
- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
- I teach online using Skype. I prefer face-to-face tuition and would only recommend online lesson as a supplement or substitute lesson.
- Tell me about some of your current students.
- I have been mainly working with students on GCSE and A2 exam preparation, revision. I also help a historian improve his translation technique.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
- My lessons are based on cooperation between my students and me. You are welcome and encouraged to make any suggestions that you would like me to implement into the lessons. Learning and knowing the Latin grammar very well has a significant part in my tuition as I believe that without it a very interesting world will remain undiscovered. Grammar can be quite daunting sometimes but I will try to find the best technique that suits your needs.
