- I am an experienced, qualified piano teacher (LRSM CTABRSM ALCM). I have an enhanced CRB check. I teach people of all ages from young children to retired adults.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- I teach piano and music theory. I accompany other instrumentalists for examinations.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
- I hold an LRSM (Licentiate Diploma of the Royal Schools of Music) in piano teaching, CTABRSM (Certificate in teaching of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) and ALCM (Associate diploma of the London College of Music) in performance.
- What kind of experience do you have?
- I have nearly twelve years experience of teaching and have received many positive written testimonials from (former) students including: "Thank you ever so much for your wonderful teaching. - How much do you charge?
- My fees are: £11 (30mins), £16.50 (45mins) and £22 per hour.
- Where do you teach?
- I teach throughout Leicestershire. I (can) teach students from Oadby, Aylestone, Evington, Fleckney, Wigston, Kibworth, Knighton and many other areas. I visit local students in their own homes but many other students come to me.
- When are you available?
- I am available all day seven days a week. I also teach during all holiday periods which helps to make progress more continuous.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- The ages I teach are from four years old to retired adults. I teach all levels from beginners to grade 8. I also teach students who don't wish to pursue exams but wish to learn just for pleasure.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- I prepare students for all graded exams of up to grade 8 ABRSM. Sometimes students take exams through other exam boards.
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- I have a recent Enhanced CRB certificate.
