About Roberta
- What kind of experience do you have?
I teach violin privately on a regular basis, and having relocated to Wembley am looking to recruit new begineers! I have taught forThe Music Club in St. John's Wood and a music shop in North Finchley.
- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
No, but can get one if requested.
- Where and with whom did you train?
I'm a former student of Sheila Nelson and studied violin with Nicola Loud at Royal Holloway College. Following that I've been expanding my repertoire and teaching on a regular basis.
- Tell me about some of your current students.
My pupils are mostly beginners, most are preparing for grades and others learn for pleasure & school participation. I also welcome more advanced pupils with a good grounding in Music.

- How much do you charge?
I charge £20 for 45 mins and £25 per hour. (An additional travel expense may be added)
- Where do you teach?
I am currently based in Wembley Park and am happy to travel to pupils' homes within the North/mid London area where possible.

Children: beginner to intermediate/advanced

My approach to violin learning is accessible, inspired by the methods of Strings Specialist, Sheila Nelson. I try to be attentive & patient to each child's needs and look for musicality & a positive relationship with my pupils.
