Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach the Violin up to Grade 8 and Music Theory up to Grade 5
Tell me about your qualifications.
I have been teaching privately for several years and was assistant teacher to my tutor for 5 years. I hold a DipAbrsm (Teaching) I am an established violinist with experience in both orchestral and solo performance.
What kind of experience do you have?
I have been teaching the Violin for several years, both in groups, schools and on and one-to-one basis. I am also a professional Violinist and play with the Forest Philharmonic Orchestra, Occasional Strings Quartet and various other ensembles.
How much do you charge?
£28 per hour, £14 per half hour.
Where do you teach?
I teach at my home studio. Nearest Tube station is Walthamstow Central, nearest National Rail station is St James St. Nearest towns are Leytonstone, Tottenham, Chingford E4, Woodford Green, South Woodford and Wanstead.
When are you available?
I teach weekdays - daytimes and evenings and Saturday mornings. I am available to teach throughout all school holidays.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
All ages, beginners to advanced level, (pre Grade 1 - Grade 8) Adults as well as children are welcome. I also teach Music Theory up to Grade 5.

Abrsm Grades 1-8

Where and with whom did you train?
I studied under Christina Bowles and Freddie August.
Tell me about some of your current students.
I am currently teaching students between the ages of 5 and 45! All of them real individuals, with individual strengths. As well as technical aspects of learning the violin, I also involve a little music theory and musicanship into the lessons as these are all key ingredients to becoming a well rounded musician.
Do you have a personal message for students?
Learning a new skill should be fun and memorable!
