- HND (Dist) in Professional Photography - What kind of experience do you have?
- I have been providing tuition in KS2/3 English,Maths,11+ and Entrance exam preparation for the past five years. I now work privately, having gained experience and training with various tuition agencies. The ages of students I have worked with range from primary aged 7 to GCSE Level students. As such, I have a healthy working knowledge of the national curriculum objectives. Each student is assessed and this enables me to develop a bespoke approach (each student's needs are unique). I create lesson plans, provide homework and additional resources, which facilitate learning reinforcement. I have successfully prepared students for 11+ and entrance exams, teaching verbal and non verbal reasoning from scratch. I am experienced in Sats preparation, covering past papers, assisting with GCSE coursework and exam techniques. I also provide an essay proof reading, editing service. All of my students have academically progressed, achieved places in their preferred schools, improved grades and developed confidence, following private tution.
For tuition to be effective, a collaboration between students, tutor and parent (for younger students) is essential. I make myself available via email, telephone (a chat before/after the session depending on my schedule) to answer any questions, provide feedback, advice etc - How much do you charge?
- I conduct one free consultation/ assessment (charging only for travel expenses)
I charge £30 p.h for 11+/KS2/KS3
£35 p.h. GCSE English
There is a £5 travel charge
