- What kind of experience do you have?
I am a fully qualified teacher, having gained a PGCE degree in Spanish, French and primary education from the Institute of Education, University of London. As a teacher with over fifteen years of experience, I have taught across all key stages in primary, secondary and special schools. As a result, I have sound knowledge of both the primary and secondary curriculum as well as the Special Educational Needs Code of Practice.
I hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Special and Inclusive Education from the University of Roehampton and I am a specialist dyslexia teacher and assessor with the British Dyslexia Association. Apart from one-to-one classes, I also run three morning sessions for dyslexia and maths which are structured to improve reading, spelling and maths skills. Schools have no problem with pupils attending these sessions as they are held in an OFSTED inspected setting which is registered with the British Dyslexia Association. Expect individual attention and excellent results, as I have a strong commitment to fully developing the strengths and talents of each individual pupil I work with.

- Tell me about some of your current students.
I am currently teaching children between 7 and 18. Each child receives an Individualised Education Plan which is used to guide them in their learning and they have all made excellent progress. Indeed, I find it greatly rewarding to watch my students grow in confidence and ability. I take a holistic approach to tutoring and understand that education is not just about teaching subjects in a mechanical fashion but that other factors may influence the performance of pupils, for example, anxiety or low self-esteem. Taking the latter in mind, I have turned around the most anxious and reluctant students providing them with a love of learning and an ambition to succeed.
I have a strong commitment to fully developing the strengths and talents of each individual pupil I teach and adopt a caring and thoughtful approach to students I work with. Most importantly as professional teacher with over fifteen years of experience, my classes are easy to follow and best of all fun!

I am a fully qualified teacher and private tutor based in West London with over fifteen years of teaching experience in both primary, secondary and special education schools.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
In addition to tutoring primary maths, English and preparing students for Common Entrance exams, I am also a literacy and language specialist. Indeed, as a fully qualified dyslexia teacher and assessor, registered with the British Dyslexia Association, I support children who are struggling with reading, writing, spelling and I also provide specialist reports for statutory exams for those who need them. I also hold a PGCE in Spanish and French from the Institute of Education and have extensive experience in preparing students for GCSE examinations. For students who would like to improve their levels of English as a Foreign Language, I am also a Cambridge certified English language instructor, who can help pupils improve their conversational and written skills. A lot of my work in this latter area has centered around proofreading academic work for international students and this has proved very rewarding.
As a qualified teacher, my students enjoy great exam success, as my approach is easy to follow and I also take time to understand each child that I work with. I also hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Special and Inclusive Education and have extensive experience in supporting children with autism, dyslexia and behaviour difficulties. Indeed, I am 100% dedicated to the success of my students and believe that each individual child is a unique gift that has unlimited potential.

PGCE degree in Spanish and French
CELTA Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults
MA in Special and Inclusive Education
Post Graduate Certificate in Dyslexia
- How much do you charge?
My basic rate starts at £40 per hour. However, specialist dyslexia tuition is on a different fee schedule and parents are asked to contact me to arrange an initial consultation, for which there is no charge. We can then discuss the needs of your child and decide on the optimum number of sessions, depending on his/her specific requirements. For example, with reading, many students achieve rapid results in as few as 10 sessions
- Where do you teach?
I am located in Shepherds Bush and mainly teach in West and South West London. For example, the majority of my clients are located in areas such as Hammersmith, Ealing, Chiswick and Barnes. However, I am also able to travel outside these areas.
- When are you available?
Please contact me in order to discuss your individual needs and I will endeavour to arrange a time that is suitable for you. In addition, it should also be noted that, in the case of specialist dyslexia instruction, schools are usually more than happy for a child to be excused from classes to benefit from this type of tuition.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
7 years to adults
- Do you have a personal message for students?
I always tell my students that if you are determined to learn then no one can stop you, as anything is possible with a positive attitude and belief in yourself. As your tutor, I will prepare and guide you on every step of your learning journey.

My active child has been studying with Sacha for one year and she has had very good results. She has taught our 9-year-old daughter writing, spelling, comprehension skills and creative writing. Sacha is a great tutor. She always tries to find an individual approach, her lessons are fun and productive. I would recommend Sacha to all parents.
Ms Nadiya, Ukraine.Sacha is an excellent tutor, we feel very fortunate to have found her. She is tutoring my 12yrs old dyslexic son who used to be a reluctant learner but since working with her he became more independent and confident when approaching lessons and homework. The sessions are very engaging and fun. She is extremely caring and knowledgeable and gives us lots of advice when dealing with the complex areas of learning difficulties. I would highly recommend her.
Sacha has been an absolute godsend for our son William, age 12, who has ASD and has always struggled with maths, finding it mostly a terrifying prospect! Since having weekly lessons with her his confidence has really flourished and he is so much happier and more capable with maths. The foundations – which were definitely very wobbly before – are now firmly in place. Sacha is absolutely committed to ensuring that children are happy but that they also make great strides with their learning – she always ensures that work is aligned with what is most needed and always following the school curriculum for maximum benefit. I really appreciate the excellent communication and attention to detail that goes into every lesson. She is the ultimate professional, but also very approachable and most importantly makes the lesson fun and accessible at all times. Thank you Sacha – we are so pleased we found you!
Sacha was lovely, so helpful and really adapted quickly to see what type of activities worked best for my son. She is also very patient and makes sure my son feels comfortable in each class. Even before the first session, Sacha asked lots of questions to establish the key areas to focus on and was very specific with that questioning.
Would highly recommend. So glad we found Sacha, she puts a lot of effort into her lessons and clearly knows what she is doing. Our daughter has made brilliant progress in her reading.
Sacha is very patient and understanding of our daughters needs and we can tell she genuinely cares about her. Also goes beyond what we would expect in providing support through the week if needed and supplying work for outside the lessons. Would highly recommend her.Sacha is an amazing tutor! She understood our daughter’s needs and adapts her lessons so well. Lots of tutors didn’t want even take us on when Sacha helped my daughter progress so quickly. We have weekly zoom lessons with her and my daughter always looks forward to lessons.
Learning with Sacha a highlight even at the end of the school day for my daughter. The tutoring is fun and has made a really positive impact both in attainment and approach to learning. We’ve seen real progress in maths and multiplication moving up way more quickly than we’d expected.
Sacha has been tutoring my 10-year-old daughter in English comprehension for the past 4 months. My daughter has ADHD and finds it difficult to sit and focus on written tasks and also struggles to organise her ideas. The content of Sacha’s weekly lessons has been excellent. Sacha has managed to keep my daughter engaged and working in the lessons and has provided useful homework tasks each week which are not too onerous but have allowed independent practice of the skills taught. My daughter is learning how to construct answers in a way that helps her express what she knows, something she was struggling with before. I can also see that her anxiety around reading comprehensions has lessened.
Sacha is a very thorough, committed and reliable teacher and I would highly recommend her.
We are really pleased with the progress our son is making with Sacha - the programme she has developed for him is really helping and she is great at making sure the lesson style and contents keeps him motivated and engaged. Would highly recommend.
Sacha has been teaching my ADHD daughter for over 9 months now and there has been a noticeable improvement in her understanding. Despite being ADHD Sacha captures her attention brilliantly and she is able to get the most out of the session that she doesn't get at school. I cannot recommend Sacha highly enough.
My daughter (8 years old) has been working with Sacha once a week since October 2020. She struggles with reading and writing. The tutoring sessions have been online, and I have been impressed by Sacha's earnest professionalism and deep understanding of her specialism. She clearly brings this to her tutoring approach, which my daughter is enjoying. Sacha's mix of educational games, creative learning, and daily practice is a great combination - and it's working.
Sacha has been tutoring our 10 year old son in maths for the last two years, he has grown hugely in confidence and ability and really enjoys the lessons. She has a great approach and manner. We couldn't recommend her more highly.
My son was diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD early this year. To support his learning we have been very fortunate to have found Sacha who provides weekly tutoring for us.
Sacha is not only highly qualified and experienced in this field but also has a brilliant approach to the children whom she supports. Learning is fun, meaningful and most importantly strengths based which works brilliantly for my son.
I have no hesitation in recommending Sacha to any parent who wants to see their child not just grow but thrive.Sacha is a fantastic tutor she has made my daughter feel so at ease from her first lesson. Sasha makes sure the lessons are fun to keep my daughter interested and the improvement my daughter has made in such a short time is amazing. I would highly recommend Sacha.
You can totally entrust your child’s education and well-being with Sacha, as she has been key in facilitating our sons understanding and full engagement with his subjects and lessons. So much so that she started teaching him french and then went on to teach him, Maths, English and Science. She has also been supporting him with business and life skills. We can not recommend her highly enough.
Sacha has worked hard to get our daughter through her year 6 SATS tests and now with her English in year 7. Her confidence has grown greatly and, as a result, her reading, writing and spelling have improved.
More recently Sacha has worked with our daughter to improve her vocabulary, descriptive language and story telling. We have been very pleased with the terrific progress that our daughter has made. We particularly liked the way Sacha tailored the classes to her specific strengths and interests which made the lessons more accessible and varied.
Sacha has been very accommodating with times and given good feedback after every session. She has also set regular homework. Sacha has developed an excellent working relationship with our daughter. She has also been a source of reassurance and support during the lockdown.
Sacha comes highly recommended from us!

Sacha initially tutored my son in writing when he was 6 and we have since moved on to have her help him now with Maths and English. We have been super impressed throughout by her organisation and dedication to teaching. Sacha quickly developed a great rapport with our son and was able to quickly identify the areas where he needed extra support. He looks forward to her weekly lessons and always enjoys the fact that she makes each session interesting, and full of variety. The class plans are very well structured, and the homework helpful to keep practising the skills after each lesson. We couldn’t be more pleased with the results from Sacha’s tutoring, and the confidence she has given our son to tackle each new topic in his lessons.
Rebecca Bell (London 2020)Sasha is amazing she has specialist SEN qualifications and experience and it shows. She has been teaching my daughter who is severely dyslexic and probably on the spectrum for a couple of months now and my daughters reading comprehension, spelling , reading and writing skills have improved beyond all recognition. What I really love seeing is how much my daughter's confidence has improved. She really looks forward to her lessons with Sasha every week. Sasha is also very affordable particularly when you consider that a lot of tutors with out her qualifications or experience charge a lot more. She is reliable and engaging. She is also a lovely person. You cant go wrong.
Sacha is a brilliant tutor and we have been amazed by the difference she has made to our son's ability to express himself in writing. We feel very lucky to have her tutoring our 11-yr old son who has ASD and ADHD, and see the wonderful difference that her work has made in his ability to analyse and write, but also to his personal self-worth. She has helped him develop a confidence in himself and he is no longer anxious about tackling longer pieces of writing. Sacha is always patient, positive and fair and our son enjoys the lessons and is happy to prepare his homework. They have a relationship of trust, and she is always interested in what he has to share with her.
Sacha has been working weekly with my 14-year-old son since March 2017, focusing on his GCSE-level maths. Sacha is extremely patient and understanding with him, and sets sensible levels of homework to reinforce his learning. Sacha is always reliable and punctual, and highly conscientious. I highly recommend her to anyone lucky enough to have her working with their child.

Sacha has been tutoring my daughter to help with her spelling and handwriting. She has shown great patience and has kept my daughter engaged (despite working with her on Fridays at the end of the school week).I am pleased with the progress that my daughter has made as a result of Sacha's intervention. The improvement has been noticed at school as well and her teacher tells me that she is now performing at the expected level despite the difficulties she has had with dyslexia.
Sacha has been tutoring our 10 year old maths & English for several weeks. We are happy with her professional approach to classes & the extra focus she provides for the particular areas where our son needs extra help, to which he is responding well. We have since also asked Sacha to help out with additional specialist handwriting classes to further help our son.
My daughter is dyslexic and has been having weekly lessons with Sacha for the past few months. We have found Sacha a very thorough and caring tutor who really puts herself out and goes the extra mile in order to help her students. My daughter enjoys her lessons with Sacha and we have been very happy with her progress. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Sacha.
We have been extremely impressed with Sacha since she has started working with our son. Sacha has managed to get a good camaraderie established with him, and he engages well during his sessions with her. He is progressing well at school, and we are looking forward to expanding his tutoring to other subjects. It is a bonus that Sacha is able to provide tutoring in several areas of study.
Sacha successfully prepared our boys for the 11+ Common Entrance Exams for two very competitive London schools. She has a friendly and supportive approach and seeks to make lessons both enjoyable and instructive. She is a very kind and patient tutor who truly understands children.
