Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach Flute, Singing and Piano.

Tell me about your qualifications.
BA (hons) 2:1 in music, Certificate in Education (GTP)

What kind of experience do you have?
After finishing my music degree and teaching qualification I taught both primary and secondary school class music before moving on to working in training & education for a national charity. I have been continuing to teach individuals and small groups in flute, singing and piano. I have specific training in classical flute and jazz singing, but enjoy teaching all styles.

How much do you charge?
I charge £12.50 for half an hour and £25 an hour, apart from singers where it's £15 for half an hour and £30 for an hour. I would recommend half an hour for flute/piano and an hour for singers, but it's totally up to you.

Where do you teach?
I teach from home in Milford, Godalming

When are you available?
Weekends and weekday evenings.

Which ages and levels do you teach?
I work well with all ages, from beginners to advanced, but only to intermediate level on the piano.

Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I am happy to prepare students for graded exams, but also happy to teach people who would like to learn just for fun.

Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
I have an enhanced CRB disclosure.

Tell me about some of your current students.
At the moment I have 8 pupils ranging from age 9 to adult. Some of my pupils are working for graded exams, but some are learning for fun. I love working with them all and getting to know each of them as individuals.

Do you have a personal message for students?
I enjoy learning alongside my pupils and am happy to go at whatever pace you wish.
