Which subject(s) do you teach?
I am a trombonist with lots of experience in all styles including classical and jazz. Although my first instrument is the trombone I also have experience teaching all the brass instruments. In addition I am a classically trained singer with experience coaching young singers and performers.
Tell me about your qualifications.
I am about to graduate from the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester. The course is heavily focussed on performance but also involved thorough musicological study and teacher training.
What kind of experience do you have?
I have experience teaching brass players of all ages and abilities. As a chamber musician I work with the charity Live Music Now delivering music education to schools, care homes and community centres.
How much do you charge?
Lessons are £22 for an hour or £11 for half an hour. I also offer 1 free consultation lesson.
Where do you teach?
I teach at my house in Rusholme, South Manchester but I am also willing to travel to the student’s home if this is more convenient.
When are you available?
My schedule is flexible but I don't work on Sunday and school holidays may vary.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
All ages and levels are welcome.
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
Yes.

Four years at the Royal College of Music Junior Department with Simon Hogg and Peter Harvey.
