Personal Message
I currently live in London working as a singing teacher, tutor and freelance singer before applying to music college. I am energetic and fully committed to my students, ensuring that I can give as much help as possible.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
I primarily teach Singing, whether it be classical or jazz to all levels. On the academic side, I teach Religious Studies and English at all levels. I can also offer help with revision techniques and writing skills, particularly with coursework/dissertations and exam technique.
Tell me about your qualifications.
I have taken ABRSM exams in Singing including Grade 8 (distinction) and my dipABRSM diploma in singing performance. I also hold ABRSM grade 7 violin and piano. I held a choral scholarship in the Choir of Clare College, Cambridge for 3 years.

In 2011 I graduated from Clare College, University of Cambridge with a BA (Hons) degree in Theology and Religious Studies (2:1). This degree included significant study of different religious faiths, history, philosophy and literature. I have A Levels in Religious Studies (A), English (A), History (A) and Music (A).
What kind of experience do you have?
My experience includes teaching singing to private pupils on a part time basis alongside participating in the Music outreach project at University. Personally, I have performed as a soloist in many prestigious venues around England and abroad, including on two Clare College choir CD recordings and on live BBC 3 radio broadcast. I sing in numerous professional choirs in London and in March 2011 I gave a solo recital in St.Martin in the Fields, Trafalgar Square.

Academically, I recently helped students with essay structuring, English and Religious Studies at A level, university applications and Oxbridge interview preparation. I focus on helping students with exam technique and how to convey their knowledge in the most effective way.

I recently gained the highest tier rating with Blue Tutors for quality of teaching.
How much do you charge?
My basic rate is £25 per hour. For consultation lessons I charge £20. I am happy to travel to teach, but may have to negotiate an extra charge for a considerable distance. Please don't hesitate to contact me to discuss your individual requirements.
Where do you teach?
I will happily travel to students' homes. I live right at Streatham Hill, London (1 min from the station) but am happy to travel to the student's area if that is convenient.
When are you available?
My availability is flexible, including evenings and weekends; so please do get in touch to discuss your requirements. I am able to offer tuition during school holidays as well as term time.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
For both Singing and academic studies, I am happy to teach any age and level.
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
Yes.
Where and with whom did you train?
I have had singing lessons since I was a chorister aged 8. I trained with the National Youth Choir GB and recently with the Choir of Clare College, Cambridge. I currently study singing with a Guildhall teacher.
