Personal Message: Hello. I'm a friendly, professional, and experienced teacher, ready to teach all levels and all ages.
Which subject(s) do you teach?: I teach classical piano, chamber music and music theory.
Tell me about your qualifications.: I started my studies at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama where I obtained a first class Bachelor of Music with honours. I also won a number of prizes there including the Concerto Prize, the Lawrence Davies Memorial Award, the Gabb and Co Chamber Music Award, the Eric Hodges Memorial Award, the Accompanist Prize, and the Year Prize. I then went to study on the Perfectionnement course at the Conservatoire National de Rennes in France, and then to the Academie Internationale de Courchevel. I am currently a Masters student in solo piano at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
What kind of experience do you have?: I have been teaching for six years, in Britain and abroad. I have had predominantly private students, but I have also occasionally worked in some primary school classrooms
How much do you charge?: I charge £30 for hour long lessons, and £20 for half an hour.
Where do you teach?: I teach at the students' homes. In and around Islington, Camden, Highbury, Kentish Town, Highgate, and further field on request.
When are you available?: I normally teach during the working week, in the evening. Normally I do not teach during the school holidays, but some adult students have been known to carry on during holidays.
Which ages and levels do you teach?: I teach all ages and all levels. I have experience teaching very young children and adults, many right from the beginning (even adults!), and I have experience teaching advanced students (up to around Grade 8 standard).
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?: I do not currently have a CRB disclosure certificate, but if it was necessary I would be willing to provide one.

I normally work with a variety of methods, in order to broaden the experience for the pupil.
