- I am a very patient and dedicated French native speaker. I tailor my lessons to the students' needs and expectations.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- I teach French, English as a Foreign Language and can also teach methodology (including essay writing) and primary school subjects to students following the French curriculum (such as CNED ̶ distance learning).
- Tell me about your qualifications.
- I hold a Master's Degree in Humanities with English (French DEA Lettres-Humanités-Civilisations) from the Université de Bourgogne, in Dijon, France.
I also have a university diploma to teach French as a Foreign Language (French Licence FLE).
I am accredited to administer DELF/DALF A1-C1, French official international proficiency tests. - What kind of experience do you have?
- I have been a teacher for over 6 years and have a very diverse experience as I have been working in an Alliance française in Mexico, a language centre, two adult education centres and two tutoring agencies. My first teaching experience was as a language assistant in Preston, Lancashire.
I have had students ranging from 7 years old to 65+, from absolute beginners to advanced levels. I've given private and group classes and intensive courses (up to 7h a day) in schools as well as in companies. I have over 2000 teaching hours, including more than 700 hours of private tuition (basically in French Literature, French and English as Foreign Languages). - How much do you charge?
- Free consultation by phone or email.
£30/h in-company classes
£30/h for the preparation to DELF/DALF
£25/h for GCSE and A Level French
£25/h conversation, grammar and any other subject/level
£25/h CNED
£20/h Online tuitions, email marking, proofreading
£5/h per additional student
Travel included - Where do you teach?
- I teach at the student's home or office or any other place agreed by both parties.
I can also provide online tuition, through skype or messenger. - When are you available?
- I am available 7 days a week, at whatever time is convenient for the students.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- I can teach students from 10 years old, absolute beginners to advanced levels, students on a home study course with the CNED and professionals (including in-company classes).
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- For GCSE, A Level, university diplomas or degrees in French, French Baccalauréat, the official international French proficiency tests DELF/DALF A1 to C1.
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- No, I don't have a CRB but I do have an up-to-date French police check.
- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
- Lessons will be carried out through skype for a better interaction or through messenger.
- Do you belong to any professional organisations?
- Not at the moment.
- Where and with whom did you train?
- I trained with the Université de Bourgogne in Dijon for the Master's Degree and the university diploma to teach French.

- Coming from France where I recently taught French Literature to a student preparing a diploma in Accounting, I am now in charge of two groups of beginner students in a language school and give French private tuition (self-employed as well as with two tutoring agencies).
