Personal Message: I am a graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music and have experience teaching both privately and in schools. I am passionate about teaching musicians at any stage of learning.

Tell me about your qualifications.: I have an M/Mus with Distinction from the Royal Northern College of Music, and a B/Mus (Hons) also from the Royal Northern College of Music
What kind of experience do you have?: I have taught violin and piano in schools in Manchester as well as teaching many students privately in both Manchester and London. I have prepared students for exams with good results as well as preparing them for entry to local orchestras. As a performer I have played with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, and BBC Symphony Orchestra amongst others. I have performed with Chamber groups in venues such as the Wigmore Hall and further afield including venues in Germany, Italy and Australia.
How much do you charge?: My standard fee is £30 per hour. I charge £20 per half hour and group lessons are available at a discounted rate.
I offer a consultation lesson for £15.
Where do you teach?: I teach at pupils homes in and around central London, specifically the Angel area but also further afield!
When are you available?: My timetable is flexible and I can work around your schedule.
Which ages and levels do you teach?: I am happy to teach all ages and levels for violin, and all ages and beginner-intermediate for piano.
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?: I can help to prepare students for ABRSM exams.
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?: Yes.
