- Learning a new instrument, or even just trying to get better, can be a really frustrating time. I know! I hope to give your the support and space you need to develop at a pace that suits you.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- I teach the Saxophone; both alto and tenor.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
- Diploma in Jazz and Popular Music from Chichester College.
- What kind of experience do you have?
- I have gigged with local bands for a number of years now; soul, rock and jazz. I've also worked with an number of renowned musicians on various workshop projects and have recorded with a Sussex-based record label.
- How much do you charge?
- I charge £15 for a half hour lesson and £25 for an hour lesson. How long and how often is up to you! Also, the first half hour lesson is free!
- Where do you teach?
- I can teach in my own home but can travel if needed.
- When are you available?
- I'm available mainly in the evenings, though day time lessons can be arranged. I do gig, so sometimes I may have to reschedule, but this would be rare.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- I can teach all ages.I can help pupils if they are preparing for a grade exams. But mainly I teach for fun! Whether a complete novice or just looking to improve I can help you achieve your goals.
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- Yes.

- If playing the sax was easy everyone would be doing it! But the sense of achievement it can give you, even just playing a simple tune, is incredible. If you have any passion for music at all then I can help you channel that and give you the tools you need to enjoy playing an instrument that will last you the rest of your life.
