Learn to read music and play the guitar! Colour music method ensures fast results. You will be playing simple tunes in your first lesson.

Classical / Spanish guitar, Rock guitar, Blues, Improvisation, Folk. Also Bass.
Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a distinction at Grade 8 (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) and an ATCL (Associate of Trinity College of London diploma).
What kind of experience do you have?
Where do I start? I began learning the guitar on my eighth birthday - 35 years ago. My father ran a concert hall and hosted masterclass weekends for guitar, where I studied with some of the best teachers in the world, including John Mills, David Russell, Ben Verdery, David Leisner, John Duarte, Gilbert Biberian and Graham Wade.
How much do you charge?
30 minutes is £15, 45 minutes is £22.50. A block of 4 x 30 min lessons is £55, 4 x 45 min lessons is £85.
Where do you teach?
Ealing and Ruislip.
When are you available?
Every day except Sunday.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
Seven to Seventy-Seven.
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
Grades 1 to 8 Classical Guitar (ABRSM and Trinity Guildhall)
ATCL diploma (Trinity Guildhall)
Grades 1 to 8 Guitar and Bass (Rockschool)
Grades 1 to 5 Music Theory (ABRSM & Trinity Guildhall).

Yes.

I am Chairman of Ealing Guitar Society, the 2nd oldest Guitar Society in the UK, which began in December 1969.

Tell me about some of your current students.
At the moment (March 2011) I have one student preparing to take grade 8 guitar ABRSM, one student preparing to take the ATCL diploma (Trinity Guildhall), and many working toward the grades between 2 and 5, both Classical and Rock.
Do you have a personal message for students?
Anyone can become a guitar hero - you just need enthusiasm and commitment. If you practise for 30 minutes a day you'll be playing your favourite songs / pieces in weeks.
