Currently studying for MMus at Trinity College of Music, London. - What kind of experience do you have?
- I have previously taught theory to my peers and also to mature students looking to sit ABRSM practical exams.
I have studied composition and theory/ harmony for 5 years now and find the topic fascinating! - How much do you charge?
- I offer a half-price consultation lesson upon receiving requests.
If two or more children require tuition together, I would certainly be able to negotiate my fee. - Where do you teach?
- I offer tuition from home only.
I have a a large amount of space for teaching and a keyboard. - When are you available?
- I am free all day on Saturday and late afternoon on Sunday.
During the week, I am able to teach on Wednesday and Friday.
I am usually free more frequently during school holidays (I am staying in London over summer). - Which ages and levels do you teach?
- I prefer to teach children aged 11 and above but would be willing to teach younger children after consultation with parents.

- As I do not currently hold a teaching post at a school I do not have a CRB certificate.
- Where and with whom did you train?
- I trained in Edinburgh with the composer Kenneth Dempster.
During my time at Edinburgh Napier University I also studied with Dr. John Hails and Dr. Katrina Burton.
I currently study composition with Dr. Paul Nelwand and Dr. Deirdre Gribbin in addition to studying voice with tenor, John Wakefield.
