Lessons will include; technique, fretboard knowledge, theory, chord-voicing, repertoire, improvisation, practice technique, transcription and jazz history.
Tell me about your qualifications.: BA Hons (Music) - 1st class degree
PGDIP (Jazz) - Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama
What kind of experience do you have?: I have 10 years teaching experience including 1 to 1 lessons, teaching in schools, running jazz improvisation classes, as a tutor on jazz courses, ensemble coaching.
How much do you charge?: £20 per hour, rates for longer lesson times are negotiable.
Where do you teach?: From my home. However, I can travel to students home if required and within a reasonable distance.
When are you available?: Flexible availability.
Which ages and levels do you teach?: All levels.
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?: Yes
Where and with whom did you train?: I have studied with; Luis D'Agostino, Dave Cliff, Mike Outram, John Etheridge, Geoff Simkins, Nick Weldon, Paula Gardiner and Steve Waterman.
