Which subject(s) do you teach?: I teach English as a foreign language to all ages & English & maths at Key Stage 1 & 2. In addition, I teach piano to beginner children or adults.
Tell me about your qualifications.: I have a degree in languages from Edinburgh University & post-graduate teaching qualifications in teaching English to speakers of other languages (Sheffield Hallam University) & primary education (London University)
What kind of experience do you have?: My 30 years of teaching has included: 20+ years teaching in primary schools, both as a class teacher & a support teacher;
5+ years teaching English to non-English speaking adults;
How much do you charge?: I charge £25 per hour for adults and £20 for children in students' own homes. A discount can be agreed if students travel to my home.
Where do you teach?: I am happy to teach in my home or students' own homes. I will teach in South Manchester, Stockport and Trafford.
When are you available?: I am available on Mondays & Tuesdays daytime and evenings.
Which ages and levels do you teach?: I teach Key Stage 1 & 2 English & maths, English to adults and piano to beginners.
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?: Yes
