To be honest, I didn't really understand until I took music lessons, but more so in my early 20's when I was immersed in classical music for 6 hours a day for 7 days a week. My Testimonials

"Music is such a comfort: a world of certain beauty and emotional depth into which we can escape from the vicissitudes of reality. Thank- you, Sylvia!" - Margalit |

Sylvia is a patient, enthusiastic, positive, and experienced teacher. She is always armed with a creative approach and uses engaging analogies. She has been the only teacher to-date able to address major technical problems in my playing, such as tension and economy of movement. After 3 months alone I've significantly improved my playing with notable results, receiving 'Commended' performances at the Sutton Music Festival 2009 and continually extending the limits of my musical potential. - Ben |
