- Hi, my name is Tabea and I love teaching violin to all ages.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- I teach violin and music theory from beginner level to advanced level.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
- I am currently in my 3rd year of the Bachelor of Music degree at the Royal Academy of Music.
- What kind of experience do you have?
- I have been teaching for 5 years. I have experience in one to one lessons as well as in group lessons. My pupils so far have ranged from 4 year olds to 65 year olds.
- How much do you charge?
- For violin lessons I charge 25 pounds per hour.
- Where do you teach?
- I teach from home but I also travel to my pupil's houses in different areas of London.
- When are you available?
- I am available on weekdays afternoons and evenings. I am also available on Saturday afternoons.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- I teach all ages and all levels. It is never too late to start. Music making is a wonderful thing and I would love to encourage people to think the same.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- I prepare students for all Grade Exams up to Grade 8. However if working towards exams is not for you, then we can also learn violin just for fun, without any pressure.
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- Yes.
- Where and with whom did you train?
- I studied violin in Berlin, Manchester and London with professors at respective Music Conservatoires.
- Tell me about some of your current students.
- I play a lot of classical orchestral music, but I also play popular and new music in and around London with different groups and singers. I have experience in chamber music and have also performed solo repertoire.
