What kind of experience do you have?
I have been privately tutoring for the last year and have had very positive feedback from my tutees and their parents. I have also spent some time working in Hadden Park school in Bilborough as a teaching assistant and have recently worked in a summer school initiative with Nottingham Trent University with a group of year 9 pupils.
How much do you charge?
I charge £15 per hour for A Level subjects and £12 per hour for GCSE Mathematics, but this can be negotiable under special circumstances.
Where do you teach?
I teach primarily in Nottingham, but am willing to travel to smaller towns/villages in close proximity to Nottingham.
When are you available?
I am available in the evenings of week days from about 4:00 onwards or at weekends. This is only in university term time, so I will not be available over the summer or the Christmas and Easter seasons.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach GCSE and A-Level, so ages 14-18.
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
Yes
Do you have a personal message for students?
The main issue I have faced with previous students is a lack of confidence in their mathematics. With this in mind, I aim not to teach students anything new, but to inspire confidence in using what they already know to maximise their potential.
