I grew up in Luxembourg in a bi-lingual household (German & English), where I was also exposed to French on a daily basis.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
English, TEFL, German, and French, as well as helping with Journalism and Politics assignments.
Tell me about your qualifications.
BA French & European Studies (2:2, although I got a 2:1 in my final year), PGDip Journalism (B), and MA Political Communication (2:1), as well as TEFL.
What kind of experience do you have?
I have tutored English, German, and French (grammar, literature, poetry, etc.) on a one-to-one basis in the Greater London area, and I have gained MFL classroom teaching experience during a PGCE course I took last year.
How much do you charge?
TEFL: 15 pounds per hour; English: 15 pounds per hour; German: 20 pounds per hour; French: 20 pounds per hour
Where do you teach?
Online (i.e. Skype), at the tutee's home, or at my home (in Mitcham).
When are you available?
Immediately - with no specific restrictions as of yet.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
12-99
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
GCSE, A-level, BA, PGDip

Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
Usually on Skype, at a slightly reduced rate (2 pounds less per hour), and only with at least one day's notice.
Do you have a personal message for students?
I am aware that modern languages are seen to be as difficult as science subjects, but I am convinced of their importance, and eager to show you a greater level of depth of learning and cultural insight through my position as a native speaker. I am happy to adapt my lessons entirely to your individual needs, but also willing to create my own lesson plans. I believe that a certain level of spontaneity is vital to improve one's confidence in a foreign tongue.
