- I teach Trumpet, Trombone, French Horn, Euphonium, Tuba and Music Theory to Grade 5 standard and Tuba and Euphonium to Grade 8/Diploma Level.

- What kind of experience do you have?
- I have considerable experience performing with many of the UK's leading orchestras, including the London Philharmonic, Royal Ballet Symphonia, BBC National Orchestra of Wales and London, Bournemouth & BBC Symphony. Other experience includes performances with The Heritage Orchestra - backing artists such as Jamie Cullum, comedian Tim Minchin, The Leisure Society and Anthony & The Johnsons - chamber music with brass quintets Barbican Brass and Brass Spectrum and in 'Chicago' in London's West End. I have been teaching privately for the past couple of years to people of all ages, levels and instruments. I have also enjoyed many teaching/workshopping experiences in schools across the country through working for 'The Education Group' and 'Live Music Now!' as well as teaching for 'The Barr Academy of Performing Arts'.
- How much do you charge?
- From home - £30 per hour. £15 per half hour. From students house - £30 per hour, £15 per half hour PLUS a travel fee.
- Where do you teach?
- From home and/or students houses. I live in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.
- When are you available?
- Weekdays and Saturdays, anytime.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- All brass - beginner to intermediate. Tuba/Euphonium - beginner to advanced.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- ABRSM and Trinity/Guildhall graded exams.
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- Yes.

Breathing
The most important thing to remember when playing any brass instrument, particularly the tuba, is BREATHE! You cannot create a good sound without flooding your instrument with air. Always remember to stay relaxed and get a good lung-full!
