Which subject(s) do you teach?
I am an Italian mother tongue and teach Italian at all levels, both grammar and conversation.
Tell me about your qualifications.
BA in Translations Studies
MA in Conference interpreting
DPSI in Law from IoL (www.iol.org)
Professional freelance interpreter and translator.
What kind of experience do you have?
5+ experience as a private tutor. Also been tutoring at Exeter University.
How much do you charge?
I charge £30/hour for conversation lessons and grammar. Any travel expenses are added to the rate. Groups of two/three are at a discounted rate.
All fees are subject to VAT (20%) e.g. £30+VAT = £36 per hour.
Where do you teach?
I usually teach from home. I am close to St. Lukes Campus, Exeter. I am also happy to meet students in town free of charge.
When are you available?
All days of the week, except Sat and Sun. Exceptions apply, please double-check with me on a week-to-week basis.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
Usually 18+
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
No, I don't. The current legislation does not allow the self-employed (which I am) to apply for a CRB check on themselves.
Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
I'm happy to arrange Skype videocalls/chats.

I believe in communication. But communication is up to us. I can help you find a meeting between the two, at reasonable costs and while having fun!
