Personal Message: Violin tuition for all ages and abilities.
Which subject(s) do you teach?: I teach classical violin and viola.
Tell me about your qualifications.: I have an honours degree in Music.
What kind of experience do you have?: I have 15 years private teaching experience.
How much do you charge?: I charge £20 for a 45 minute lesson. I may have to charge extra if I am travelling to you. For young students up to the age of 7, I would recommend a 30 minute lesson, which is £15.
Where do you teach?: I teach in many areas including Bognor, Chichester and Barnham, West Sussex
When are you available?: I am available most week days from 4:00, Wednesday mornings, and Saturday afternoons
Which ages and levels do you teach?: I have experience in teaching all ages. I am currently teaching a range of ages from 4 to retirement age. I teach all levels, from beginner up to grade 8.
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?: I teach in many schools and colleges, and so therefore I hold a CRB certificate.
Tell me about some of your current students.: I am currently teaching children from ages 4 - 18 and have achieved good results. Some are working on their ABRSM grades. I have a 100% pass rate with my students, but grade exams are not essential. I am also teaching adults, some total beginners and some who have come back to playing after a very long break.
Do you have a personal message for students?: All lessons are tailored to the needs of each individual. Regular practice (at least 4 times a week) is essential.
