As a Chartered Information Technology professional, I provide professional training in Computing and ICT for KS3, KS4, KS5 and foundation degree courses.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach Applied ICT, BTEC Nationals, OCR Nationals and GCSE I. I also teach ECDL modules, Microsoft Office 2003/2007 suite particularly Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, Microsoft Project, Macromedia Suite (Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks).
Tell me about your qualifications.
I am a Chartered IT Professional (BSC CITP), a Bachelor of Science - Honours degree (BSC Hons) in Computing Science, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE/FE), a Master of Science degree (MSc) in Computing and have qualified teacher status (QTS).
What kind of experience do you have?
I have being teaching adult learners Computer Technology at University level (12 years), GCSE IT (2) years, Advanced Level Computing and Information Communication Technology (13 years) and KS3 IT (3 years). I also taught BTEC First Diploma, BTEC National Diploma, (AS and A2) Computing (level 3) and (AS and A2) Information and Communication Technology (level 3). In addition, l taught OCR Nationals ICT - level 2 and 3 and coordinated Applied ICT AS and A2.
How much do you charge?
A Level ICT - £35, GCSE ICT - £30, KS3 IT - £25.
Where do you teach?
I will teach you in your own home if convenient or arrange an alternative venue if possible (extra cost might be included). Online tutorial is optional to meet your needs.
When are you available?
Weekday evening to meet the student's needs and Saturday mornings as required.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
Key Stage (KS3) - year 11 - 14, KS4 level 2 GCSE years 14 - 16, KS5 level 3 GCE years 16 - 19, ECDL and specific IT courses - Adult.
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
GCSE - academic and vocational (BTEC Nationals, OCR Nationals), GCE - AS and A Level (BTEC Nationals, OCR Nationals, Edexcel), ECDL Level 2 and 3.

Tell me about some of your current students.
Most of my students went on to pursue their ambitions studying degree courses in IT, Computing and Engineering. My foundation university students went on to complete their Computing and ICT Honors degree courses.
