As an energetic and enthusiastic music college graduate, I am experienced in flute and piano teaching for all ages and groups, experienced in preparing my pupils entering gradings and exams.

Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach Flute, Baroque Flute, Piano in either English or Chinese.

Tell me about your qualifications.
I was awarded Master of Music in Advanced performance with Distinction at Royal College of Music London, studying both modern and baroque flute. I am awarded Master of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts from National Taiwan Normal University, studying flute and piano. I am also a qualified teacher with Certificate of Music Education in Secondary School.

What kind of experience do you have?
I have been a private tutor of flute and piano for more than 8 years. I also have been a classroom teacher in music at high school for twelve months as well as a flute tutor in Highbury Grove School.

How much do you charge?
Flute £30/hour, £20 for 30-min lesson
Piano £25/hour, £15 for 30-min lesson

Where do you teach?
I would like teach at students' homes in North, Western, South-Western, West-central and East-central London and Kingston.

When are you available?
During term time: Wednesday morning, afternoon and evening, Saturday morning, afternoon and evening.
Summer holidays: Monday to Saturday afternoon and evening.

Which ages and levels do you teach?
Flute and piano from age 4, levels including beginners and grade 1 to 8

Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
Medals, ABRSM

Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
Yes.

I would recommend 45-min lesson for young children under 6 years old.
