I teach Maths (KS1, KS2, KS3, GCSE), 11+ non-verbal reasoning, 11+ verbal reasoning, and beginners piano.

How much do you charge?
£10 per hour for KS1 Maths.

Where do you teach?
Teaching is at my home. My location is near Tesco Yeading, off of the Hayes Bypass (A312) which runs between the M4 and A40. I'm situated north of Hayes and Southall, south of Northolt/Ruislip, west of Greenford, and east of Uxbridge and Hillingdon.

When are you available?
I am generally available after school (4pm), evenings and weekends. Why not do your weekly food shopping at Tesco (or Sainsburys which is also close by) whilst your child is being tutored? For an extra flat fee of £10 to cover travel and transport, I may be able to teach at your home.

Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach Maths to children aged 5-16. I prepare children aged 9-12 for the 11+ VB and NVB exams.

Do you have a CRB disclosure certificate?
No.

I have no arrangements for on-line tutoring.

Tell me about your qualifications.

No.

What kind of experience do you have?
I have successfully tutored children for the Slough 11+ maths, verbal reasoning, and non-verbal reasoning. I have tutored children in maths from KS1 through to GCSE. In the more distant past, I worked in a high school in Durham, North Carolina providing one-on-one academic support to disadvantaged children. I have taught adult learners in a classroom setting. I was a member of Big Brothers Big Sisters during my university years.

Do you have a personal message for students?
My aim is to help you to build a solid foundation and appreciation of the subject matter, to learn how to independently tackle the various types of problems that are part of the national curriculum, to make sense of the methods used, to think through problems one step at a time, to practice good work habits, and to build your confidence.
