Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach General Science GCSE and BTEC up to A-level, A-level Chemistry and Biology, Science Key Stage 3 and 4 (all secondary sciences), Maths up to GCSE, Home Economics GCSE, Child Development GCSE.

Tell me about your qualifications.
I have QTS teaching qualification in Secondary Science (with 5 years teaching experience), BSc HONS in BIOCHEMISTRY, MSc in BUSINESS STUDIES.

What kind of experience do you have?
I have extensive tutoring experience in my named subjects tutoring on a one to one basis and in small groups. I have tutored home schooled pupils and mainstream educated pupils. I am currently working as a secondary science teacher, so have upto date knowledge on all current exam syllabuses.

How much do you charge?
I charge the rate stated in my fee information, no extra cost.

Where do you teach?
I teach at the students' homes, or the student can come to my home, or I have taught students at local libaries.

When are you available?
After School (4pm), and weekends, and school holidays any time.

Which ages and levels do you teach?
11 to Adult

Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I cover all exam boards and I am a current exam marker for EDEXCEL GCSE Science and Chemistry, and I have been an exam marker for 5 years for EDEXCEL in the same subjects.

Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
Yes

Do you belong to any professional organisations?
I am a current member of the Royal Society of Chemistry

Tell me about some of your current students.
I currently work as a Science and Maths Teacher in a local secondary school, and have several special needs pupils, as well as Science BTEC pupils, and pupils studying both Foundation and Higher GCSE Science and Maths. I have previously taught and tutored A-level Chemistry and Biology.

Do you have a personal message for students?
I am very dedicated and supportive, and will do extra lessons close to your exams if you need it. I always use current education resources and exam papers, which are approved by the exam boards or approved for current school syllabus use. I will focus the lessons to suit your needs to support your learning and assist you in improving your confidence in subjects and grades.
