- Experienced Science and Chemistry Tutor. I will communicate my passion to your children and teach them the secrets I learned along the way.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- I teach chemistry and organic chemistry at the higher levels (A-level, university). However, I am fascinated by science in general and find it rewarding to teach Maths, Biology, Physics and Chemistry at GCSE level and below. I am also a native French speaker and glad to help tutees with their French as well.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
- I hold a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of London, as well as a Master in Organic Chemistry. I have spent 10 years working in drug discovery and research laboratories. I have practised chemistry, biology and general science ever since. I am also a father and a team leader, which allowed me to understand that in order to get the best of people, you should not do their work for them, but instead motivate them and bring the best out of them.
- What kind of experience do you have?
- I started tutoring when I was 15. After many successful years, I took a break from tutoring to focus on my own (successful) academic career. I am now coming back to tutoring to teach a few secrets learned along the way. I regularly teach and demonstrate general science in local schools as a parent helper. I have three main axis to my teaching method: First: hard work and hard learning, Second: Motivation through attention,Third: Motivation through practical experiments
- How much do you charge?
- Initial assessment : Free; GCSE and below : £20 per hour; A-Level : £25 per hour; Travel expenses : £5
- Where do you teach?
- I teach at home in Royston and at students homes. I can also teach in central London, Bloomsbury, King's cross, Russell square during the week.

- Available evenings and weekends
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- KS2 KS3 GCSE A level AS level
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- Fully CRB checked. Certificate will be provided on request.
- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
- I am willing to start online tutoring but do not own specialist software at the moment.
