Welcome! I am a full-time, native Italian teacher with a great passion for my job. If you need to learn or improve your Italian, or if you just love something about Italy, then get in touch.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
Italian language, always sprinkled with a nice topping of Italian culture.
I also trained in theatre performance, so I am also available as Italian language coach for performing artists.
Tell me about your qualifications.
I graduated in Foreign Languages & Literature (English, Italian & French) from the Università degli Studi di Milano. I did my teacher training in London, at the Italian Cultural Institute where I achieved my TIAFL certificate. This qualification is uniquely designed for teachers of Italian as a foreign language.
What kind of experience do you have?
I started teaching Italian as a foreign language when I was a university student and I did it part-time for 3 years, working with students of all ages. I then worked as copywriter and trainer within the advertising industry for 6 years: I have had the pleasure of training colleagues from all over Europe. Because I really loved training, I decided to go back to teaching full time in 2011 and I currently work as private tutor for Italian learners of all ages in London.
How much do you charge?
My fee for 1-to-1 tuition is 30£ / 60min hour and 40£ / 90 min: I can offer discounts when you buy lessons' packets in advance.
Where do you teach?
I am more than happy to travel to your workplace or to find a quiet café in an area that suits you. For younger students different arrangements can be agreed, feel free to get in touch for more details.
When are you available?
I am very flexible on times: I am available 7 days a week, at any time.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
All levels, all ages.
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
GCSE, A-level, professional and personal knowledge objectives.
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
Happy to provide an updated one if needed.
Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
Skype, Jing, Google docs for shared documents, Gmail chat.
Where and with whom did you train?
When it comes to language teaching, I am really proud to say that I trained at the Italian Cultural Insitute in London, with native Italian professionals currently working in London's most prestigious universties.
Do you have a personal message for students?
Learning languages is fantastic, it will give you an additional point of view. I am myself a language student and I will never cease to be one.
