- Welcome to the Kumon Study Centre which provides maths and English programmes. Our focus is on promoting independent learning by taking children back to basics and focus on key topics such as mental arithmetic, times tables, reading and grammar.
- Classes
- A class visit would typically take 20-30 minutes per single subject and 30-40 minutes for a 'dual subject'. The class routine is as follows:
Students swap their completed homework for new work.
See the instructor/assistant to do oral reading/oral maths.
Complete their class work and submit for marking.
Whilst waiting for work to be marked, have a go at the practical activities.
Collect marked work and complete corrections if any.
See Instructor for feedback.
Collect stickers.
Home Routine
The home routine is equally as important and is as follows:
Complete daily work with oral work if necessary.
Parent/Guardian to mark the work.
Completion of corrections.
Parent/Guardians check corrections to ensure 100% achieved with necessary feedback - Ages and Levels Covered
