- One year post-graduate acting from Drama Studio London (NCDS / CDS accredited)
National Certificate in Professional Acting from Trinity College London
Doctorate in Computer Science from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich
Bachelor of Engineering (with honours) in Computer Science and Electronics from Edinburgh University - What kind of experience do you have?
- Since graduating from Drama school, I have been lucky enough to work in television, film and stage. (I'm currently playing Duke of Cornwall in King Lear at the Rose on bankside).
In my previous career, I was a researcher and occasional lecturer with the School of Computing at Lancaster University, where I held the prestigious post of Marie Curie fellow for two years. Over the years at Lancaster and before that at ETH Zurich, I worked on many cutting-edge and diverse projects, including: wearable computing, human activity recognition, integrated circuit design, telemedical heart-monitoring, and even 3D film making. I have also worked on more bizarre projects, such as: electronic fashion (creating a dress that lights up in different situations), a smart book that responds to its environment, and a jacket that detects your movement and plays music accordingly.
I have presented at several high-level academic conferences. As well as having tutored dozens of Masters-level students in Computer science. - How much do you charge?
- I charge between 30 and 40 pounds (depending on travel and level of tuition required).

I can teach from basic principles to a fairly advanced level in most topics in computing and electronics.
