- I am a professional bass player and have been teaching privately for 6 years. I am a member of several bands, with whom I have toured nationally and internationally, playing gigs all around the UK as well as India, France, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Poland, Austria, Romania and Portugal. I have played gigs in all genres - from jazz to acoustic pop, and funk to heavy metal. I am regularly gigging in and around the South-East of England and have experience playing in all kinds of venues, from large international festivals to small, intimate pubs and clubs. I also play bass in orchestras for musical theatre and have played on CDs released through Sony, Relapse and other major record labels.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- I teach beginner to advanced bass guitar, as well as beginner guitar.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
- I hold a BTEC National Certificate in Music Practice with double distinction and Contemporary Popular Music Certificate in Higher Education with distinctions, both from the Academy of Contemporary Music, Guildford.
- What kind of experience do you have?
- I have been teaching privately for 6 years. I now teach privately and at the Idol Hands music school in Oxted, Surrey and am CRB checked.

- I charge £25 for an hour lesson, or £30 if the lesson is at Idol Hands. I only do hour lessons privately, but half hour lessons can be done at Idol Hands for £15.
- Where do you teach?
- I teach from home and from the Idol Hands music school in Oxted, Surrey. I am based in Tonbridge, Kent, but am willing to travel up to 10 miles to teach lessons around Sevenoaks, Caterham, Bromley, Edenbridge, Godstone, Westerham and other local areas. I prefer for you to come to me, however, as I have extra teaching resources at my home.
- When are you available?
- I am available weekdays during the day, as well as Monday and Tuesday evenings. I also teach on Sunday morning/afternoon. Please get in touch to arrange a time that is mutually satisfactory.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?

PRS (Performing Right Society) - Where and with whom did you train?
- I studied at the Academy Of Contemporary Music, Guildford for two years.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
- Once the basics of technique are covered, lessons can be entirely what you want them to be. I want you to feel inspired by music and want to give you the facilities to fulfil what you want to get out of music.
