- I am a fourth year finalist Music student at the University of Leeds. I am a cellist and pursuing a career in music, moving down to the South in the near future.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- My main subject is the Cello, although I can also teach beginners Piano and help with Music Theory.

- 9 GCSEs - 6 B's, 1 A, 2A*'s

3 Grade 8 Music Exams on Cello-Distinction, Singing-Distinction and Piano-Merit - What kind of experience do you have?
- I have a wide range of performing experience. As a cellist I have worked professionally on cruise ships giving concerts and recitals. I play with La Folia, a professional chamber orchestra. I have played cello concertos at The Globe Theatre and Vintner's Hall, London. I have played with a number of professional chamber music groups and have given recitals across the country.
For the last five years have been employed to work on renowned music courses during school holidays working as a cello coach, teacher and also on pastoral care.
As a singer, I was a girl chorister at Salisbury Cathedral and later part of semi-professional ensemble, 'Sarum Voices'.
I have had a number of master classes with cellists including Alexander Baillie, Pierre Doumage and Louise Hopkins and I currently study with Sue Lowe in York. As part of my studies, I spent a year in Strasbourg studying cello with Frank van Lamsweerde and chamber music with Armand Angster. - How much do you charge?
- £25 per hour
£15 per 1/2 hour - Where do you teach?
- I am happy to come to students' homes to teach, subject to discussion.
- When are you available?
- My availability is also subject to discussion although I am flexible during the week and most weekends.
I will be also be able to tutor during the school holidays. - Which ages and levels do you teach?
- I can teach all ages:
Cello - from beginner to Grade 8+
Piano - from beginner to Grade 5
Early Music Theory Coaching - Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- I can prepare students for music exams, tests, recitals.
I am also able to help with music practice, supervising learning. - Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- Yes I do.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
- Having learnt with some of the best teachers in the country, I feel confident to pass on my musical passion and abilities to students.
With my experience working on many music courses, I am able to communicate well with children and enjoy sharing music with young musicians.
I believe that learning an instrument and making music should always be enjoyable and aim to concentrate on this with my students.
