- Whether you're a complete beginner or post grade 8, I aim to give musical education that is fun and motivating. Whatever your aims, I will do my best to help you reach them.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- Clarinet, Saxophone, Bassoon, Music Theory (ABRSM and GCSE/A Level) and Education outreach workshops (team of musicians).
- Tell me about your qualifications.
- First Class BMus (Honours) from The Royal College of Music, London.
- What kind of experience do you have?
- I teach bassoon and musicianship at the RCM Junior Department and in both main stream and special needs schools throughout London. I have been teaching privately for the past 7 years and have experience with all ages and abilities.
Training from Bigfoot Theatre Company, RCM Sparks, LSO Discovery and Drake Music for many education outreach workshops throughout the year.
As a performer I have played with: BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, BBC Symphony Orchestra, London Chamber Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra and been a soloist with the RCM Symphony Orchestra. - How much do you charge?
- £35 per hour
£20 per 30mins

- South west London. I am based in Putney / Wandsworth Area and teach at home but can also travel easily to: Barnes, Battersea, Chiswick, Clapham, Earl's court, Fulham, Hammersmith, Kensington, Vauxhall, Waterloo, West Brompton, Wimbledon.
- When are you available?
- Very flexible with teaching times as I am a freelance performer. The best thing to do is contact me to arrange a time.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- All ages and levels from complete beginners to post ABRSM Grade 8
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- I always ask my students what the main aim of their learning is so that we can set specific goals. Graded exams (ABRSM) can be a good way of marking progress but I understand that not everyone wants to take them. Some of my students are aiming to prepare for public recitals and some simply play an instrument for the love of music making.

- Yes
- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
- Skype/Face time with the aid of screen sharing (pdf format sheet music)

Royal College of Music, Sparks
