I am a young and enthusiastic teacher and am happy to teach all ages and abilities.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach classical and jazz saxophone and oboe.
Tell me about your qualifications.
I am currently studying saxophone at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. I also have an ATCL Diploma in the oboe.
What kind of experience do you have?
I am experienced in both classical and jazz styles, and have performed regularly in both jazz bands and orchestras. My time in Southampton Youth Jazz Orchestra included performances with Guy Barker, Julian Joseph and Tom Cawley as well as two performances at the Montreux Jazz Festival, and my orchestral playing has included Symphonic Dances from West Side Story with the European Youth Summer Music Orchestra and a Festival Hall performance of the Berstein Mass with the National Youth Orchestra under Marin Alsop. I play in the Guildhall Folk ensemble, and have also recently toured with the Conservatoire Folk Ensemble in Birmingham. I have also worked as a teacher for the Guildhall Connect scheme.
How much do you charge?
I charge £15 for half an hour or £28 for an hour.
Where do you teach?
I teach in London, and am happy to travel to you.
When are you available?
I am available on some weekday evenings, and weekends.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all ages and abilites.
Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
I do not currently teach at a school so have not had a CRB check.
Where and with whom did you train?
I am studying at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Christian Forshaw, John Harle, Nick Moss and Mick Foster.
