Tell me about some of your current students.
I have students at all levels of ability, not all read music. My students comprise of professional actors, dancers, school children, professional musicians, teachers and amateur performers. Some work towards exams or auditions some come to gain confidence or just for pleasure. We work musicals , operas or pop and jazz according to the needs or interests of the student. I usually organize two concerts for my student to give an opportunity to perform in front of a friendly audience. I enjoy teaching people who don't find singing easy as much as those who are naturals.
Do you have a personal message for students?
I was a very shy person as a teenager. I didn't feel successful in anything. Singing gave me an opportunity to be different, to make a change in myself. Why not see if it does the same for you.
