I work full time as a professional singer and musician, based in London, and have almost of lifetime of high-level singing and music making experience. Whether you are interested in pop singing, musical theatre , art song or opera I have the experience to help you.
How much do you charge?
I charge £30p/h except proofreading, which can be negotiated in advance. A consultation lesson is £20. In addition I offer a 10% discount on blocks of 10 lessons booked in advance.
Where do you teach?
I teach from home in a spacious, well-lit room situated in Maze Hill, SE3 (with a piano). I am willing to travel within within the surrounding areas (Lewisham, Charlton, Blackheath, Greenwich, Woolwich e.t.c) and also to other areas in London by negotiation.
When are you available?
This varies due to my own professional musical commitments - I try to find regular times that are convenient to my students.

Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
Yes I do.
Where and with whom did you train?
I studied music as an undergraduate at Cambridge University before accomplishing a vocal masters degree at Trinity College of Music under the professor Lynton Atkinson.
Tell me about some of your current students.
I have a number of private students, aged between 18-45, who sing a wide variety of music. One is an aspiring pop singer, another a children's TV actress who has to sing as part of her work, and another a science teacher who sings as a hobby.
Do you have a personal message for students?
As a teacher I aim to communicate my love and enthusiasm for music, whilst imparting knowledge which enables a pupil to aquire a solid and reliable technique. I want my pupils to enjoy themselves, and place an emphasis on fun and making music.
