- I am a professional opera singer and teacher and member of ENO Opera Works and the RCM teaching service. As an active professional I am well placed to offer advice to singers of all abilities.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- My main area of expertise is Classical Singing (beginners to advanced), but I also have several Musical Theatre students.
I also do a large amount of Vocal Coaching, assisting singers with issues of performance, interpretation, language (English, French, German & Italian) and audition preparation, and tutor Academic Music, Musicianship and Music Theory. - Tell me about your qualifications.

BA(hons) Music: First (Durham University)
I have a Masters in Vocal Performance from the Royal College of Music, and a Bachelor's degree in academic music from Durham University. I am now continuing my studies at one of English National Opera's young artists programmes; ENO Opera Works. - What kind of experience do you have?
- I have been teaching singing for more than five years, both privately and more recently with the RCM Teaching Service. In addition I am actively working as a professional opera singer, based with ENO Opera Works. I have also been involved in outreach work, bringing music to underprivileged school children.
- How much do you charge?
- For Singing Lessons / Vocal Tuition I charge:
£35 (£26.25) - 60 mins
£19 (£14.25) - 30 mins
Students receive 25% discount
For Academic Music / Music Theory I charge a flat £30/hr - Where do you teach?
- I teach in my house in West London, near Shepherd's Bush / Acton / Hammersmith (W3 7TN), but am also happy to travel to students' homes in the Greater London area.
- When are you available?
- I prefer to teach week-days (day time and evening), but weekends are also manageable.
As an active professional singer my schedule can vary week-to-week, but I will always give notice of changes to lesson times. - Which ages and levels do you teach?
- I teach all ages and all abilities.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- I have prepared students for ABRSM graded examinations as well as offering Audition Preparation.
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- Yes. I have and Enhanced CRB Check, completed November 2011
I have also completed the NSPCC Child Protection Awareness in Music course - Do you belong to any professional organisations?

- Where and with whom did you train?
- I trained at the Royal College of Music with Justin Lavender, and am currently learning at ENO Opera Works with Jane Robinson and Martin Constantine.
