- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- I am a trombonist with lots of experience in all styles including classical and jazz. Although my first instrument is the trombone I also have experience teaching all the brass instruments. In addition I am a classically trained singer with experience coaching young singers and performers.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
- I am about to graduate from the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester. The course is heavily focussed on performance but also involved thorough musicological study and teacher training.
- What kind of experience do you have?
- I have experience teaching brass players of all ages and abilities. As a chamber musician I work with the charity Live Music Now delivering music education to schools, care homes and community centres.
- How much do you charge?
- Lessons are £22 for an hour or £11 for half an hour. I also offer 1 free consultation lesson.
- Where do you teach?
- I teach at my house in Rusholme, South Manchester but I am also willing to travel to the student’s home if this is more convenient.
- When are you available?
- My schedule is flexible but I don't work on Sunday and school holidays may vary.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- All ages and levels are welcome.
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- Yes.

- Four years at the Royal College of Music Junior Department with Simon Hogg and Peter Harvey.
