Audition Technique - Tell me about your qualifications.
- I have been studying part time with the Open University for the past couple of years. I am studying towards a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics. I also have all my examinations with LAMDA, a diploma in Musical Theatre (SLP College), but as with all teaching my best qualification is my 10 years experience with children and in professional productions. In performing arts this really is the best thing to have.
- What kind of experience do you have?
- Originally from Yorkshire, I trained at SLP College of Performing Arts in Leeds. Theatre Credits include: Dance Captain in Evita (European Tour), Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (UK Tour & Singapore), Lullabies of Broadway (Palace Theatre, Myrtle Beach, USA), Fire of Dance (UK & European Tours), Thursford Christmas Spectacular 2008, 2009 & 2010 (Norfolk), Spirit of the Dance (European & American Tours), The Magical Rhythms of Ireland (Netherlands Tour), Celtic Journey (Churchill Theatre, Bromley).
Film & TV Credits include: Popstar to Operastar, The Magic Flute (2006 Film), Emmerdale, Heartbeat, At Home with the Braithwaites, My Parents are Aliens. I also teach master classes in Musical Theatre and Irish dancing at schools and colleges around the United Kingdom.
I also have 10 years teaching experience with children aged 3 up to adults. - How much do you charge?
- £20.00 - 30 Minutes (1 Students) - Ages 6-18 & Adults
£30.00 - 1 Hour (1 Students) - Ages 11-18 & Adults
£40.00 - 1 Hour (2/3 Students) - Ages 6-18 & Adults

I travel to each students home for private tuition. Additional costs are payable for examination fees for LAMDA. These vary depending on the grade, but are around £30-£60 for the examination. - Where do you teach?

Ealing, Watford, Bushey, Eastcote, Greenford, Borehamwood, Sheley, Radlett - When are you available?
- Mondays 4pm-8.30pm
Thursdays 4pm-8.30pm
Fridays 4pm-8.30pm
Saturdays - 10am-2pm (Sometimes) - Which ages and levels do you teach?
- Ages 6-18 - LAMDA Acting, Devising Drama, Musical Theatre
Ages 6-Adult - Singing
Ages 15-Adult - Audition Technique - Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- LAMDA Entry Grade & Grades 1-8 in Acting, Devising Drama, Musical Theatre
Grades 6-8 carry UCAS points - Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- Yes, I hold an enhanced disclosure. I am also a registered Chaperone able to look after children in the entertainment business in the UK
