Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach the Kindermusik Music and Movement programme.

Tell me about your qualifications.
I have been a licenced Kindermusik Maestro educator for 8 years. I have Grade 8 clarinet and recorders, Grade 5 piano and Grade 5 theory, and I also have a BSc (hons) in Biochemistry and a PhD in Biochemistry.

What kind of experience do you have?
I have 10 years as a licenced Kindermusik educator.
Also Director of Kindermusik UK Ltd and Area developer for Kindermusik in the UK and Ireland. I have grown the programme from a handful to around 90 licenced educators in the last few years. More info on www.kindermusik.co.uk

How much do you charge?
I charge £5.50 for classes for children up to 5, then £6.50 for children 5 to 7 years plus the cost of home materials.

Where do you teach?
I teach at St Paul's church centre, Camberley and Chobham Pavillion, Chobham.

When are you available?
All week excluding school holidays.

Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach children newborn to 7 years.

Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
Kindermusik provides a firm foundation of musical understanding prior to children learning an instrument one to one.

Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
Yes.

Do you belong to any professional organisations?
Kindermusik International and Musicians Union.

Where and with whom did you train?
Kindermusik International (US);
Music exams - Trinity college and Associated Board;
PhD and BSc - University of Wales.

Tell me about some of your current students.
I have one of the most established Kindermusik programmes in the UK and have been running it for the past 10 years. .

Do you have a personal message for students?
Kindermusik is the world's leading music and movement programme for children newborn to 7 years. It is endorsed by development experts and has the latest research on childhood development built into the programme. Our teachers are fully trained and lead small classes which aid all aspects of childhood development but importantly are fun. We recognise parents are the most important teachers for the child so quality home materials are provided for the family including CDs, instruments and books.
