Tell me about your qualifications.
My first degree was in Mathematics before I completed my Masters in Computing. I worked in Business, IT, Marketing, Events, Campaigns, Sales, Statistics, Computing programming for a few years before I started teaching full-time. I successfully completed my teaching qualification at International House London and have also taught English there. I have been IELTS trained and taught English all over the world.

Very varied and vast. I have mostly working with adults, teaching English, Medical English, Business English and IELTS. I have also worked as an examiner.
How much do you charge?
£30/hr face to face. Discounts for long-term students.
Teaching in private colleges, the hourly rate is £45-£40 per hour so I feel I have given a large discount that is affordable for most students. Further discounts available for long-term students or advance payments.
£25/hr for online lessons (speaking and writing can be effective online).

***All students will be provided with FREE copies of English textbooks for extra homework outside of lessons. ***

Central London libraries or cafes within Zone 1.
Currently, I teach in Victoria, Waterloo, Euston, King's Cross, Clapham, and Vauxhall.
I also offer online tutoring for those who live in more remote areas or who prefer to learn at home. I use a combination of Skype and an online whiteboard to conduct lessons. All notes can be downloaded after the lesson. You can also upload, edit and comment on your own homework like a real face-to-face lesson.
When are you available?
Everyday, including weekends, bank holidays and public holidays, 10am to 7pm.
Evening lessons before 9pm can also be arranged but limited to certain days of the week.

Where and with whom did you train?
First trained at International House London with adult English learners from all over world. Have been travelling and teaching adults English for over 7 years.
Tell me about some of your current students.
Most of my students are from a medical or academic background who are looking to pass their IELTS to register as a medical professional or enrol onto a University course.
I also have other students who are just looking to improve their general English for everyday conversation, work vocabulary, social skills and writing skills. I have prepared students for interviews, CV writing, Cover Letter writing, proofreading academic documents/essays/dissertations and conducted mock English exams.
Do you have a personal message for students?
Always pick a tutor based on how feel in the lesson and how you feel afterwards. This is a good way to determine if they are the right tutor for you. Remember to pick a public place before inviting a tutor to your home or visiting a tutor in their home. Be prepared to travel for the best tutors but I would always recommend meeting in public places for safety, especially if you're female. Assess what you have learnt at the end of each lesson and ask yourself if you feel that you have learnt something - if not, discuss this with your tutor and see if they can find a way to make the lessons more effective for you. It's incredibly important to have a goal so pick one before you start having any lessons. .e.g. I want to be able to speak to strangers in English without feeling embarrassed. / I want to appear and sound professional in my job so I can sell more products. / I want to be understood over the phone. Having targets ensures the lessons are focused and useful.
Good luck in your English studies as it's a skill for life! So never stop learning!
