- Which subject(s) do you teach?
- I teach all varieties of trumpets (Bb, C, Piccolo...) and also cornet and flugelhorn. Although specialising in trumpet, I can also teach other treble clef brass instruments. As well as this I teach music theory which is an essential part of any musician's repertoire and also essential to pass beyond Grade 5 exams.

OCN peer mentoring level 2. - What kind of experience do you have?
- My playing experience includes: Orchestral Concerts with Chethams Symphony Orchestra at: Cadogan Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Bridgewater Hall, Chester Cathederal and more. I have been to William Waltons Estate on the island of Ischia, Italy to play in brass ensembles. I also play in big bands, small jazz groups and smaller brass groups. A quintet i was part of took part in the celebration of american music festival at the RNCM. I have done work on the natural trumpet as well, including working with paul McCreesh and the Gabrielli Consort on a project in Wroclaw, Poland.
I have been involved in music education for many years. Being involved in various ensembles i have always mentored younger players. I have also been involved in music education projects in my education at Chethams School of Music. I have also done work with the Ernest Read Symphony Orchestra children concerts. - How much do you charge?
- Consultation lessons are £10 less than usual charge.
If i am required to travel outside of Zone 3 I require travel expenses. - Where do you teach?
- I teach mostly at homes or places of students' choice. I am happy to travel anywhere with underground or mainline rail (from central stations) access.
- When are you available?
- Lessons can be arranged from week to week and I am very flexible.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
- Trumpet, Cornet, Flugelhorn - Beginner to Grade 8 (1st level diploma in some cases)
Tenor Horn- Beginner to Grade 8
Euphonium- Beginner to Grade 5
Music Theory- Beginner to Grade 5 - Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- ABRSM and Trinity-Guildhall qualifications
- Do you have an up-to-date CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) disclosure certificate?
- No. Although, I am more than happy for parents to sit in on any required number of lessons if they feel it necessary.
